Rohit Sharma’s better-half Ritika won’t mind Rishabh Pant ‘babysit’ her daughter
Pant's babysitter incident has been doing the rounds for quite a while now.
Rohit Sharma, the Indian batsman, tied the knots with Ritika Sajdeh on December 13, 2015, and ever since they have given couple goals to a number of aspiring lovebirds. Rohit had an incredible year in 2018 and it ended on a happy note as he gave birth to his first daughter on December 30, 2018. He didn’t play the last Test against Australia at the renowned Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG).
Rather, he flew to Mumbai to attend his pregnant wife. Recently, he took to the social media to reveal the name of the daughter. Yesterday, the 31-year-old cricketer came back to Australia to join the team for the ODI series, which is scheduled to get underway on January 12 at the SCG itself.
In the meantime, Rohit wants Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant to babysit his kid. He took to Twitter and wrote, “Morning buddy. Heard your a good baby sitter, need one right now. Ritika will be quite happy @RishabPant777,”

The ‘babysitter’ incident goes back to the third Test at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) where Australian captain and wicketkeeper-batsman Tim Paine called him a ‘babysitter’ when Pant came to bat in India’s first innings. Pant gave it back to Paine by calling him a ‘temporary captain’. It was then the turn of Bonnie Maggs, the Aussie skipper’s wife to add some more humour to the post.
She took to her Instagram story to post a picture of Pant, who was seen carrying their children. The picture immediately went viral on the social media platforms and Bonnie became a sensation overnight. The incident took place at Scott Morrison’s, Australian Prime Minister, residence, and later even Pant and Paine went on to comment on the development.
Meanwhile, Ritika had a hilarious reply up her sleeve to Rohit’s tweet and mentioned that she won’t mind using Pant. She took to Twitter and wrote, “could definitely use one @RishabPant777 @ImRo45,”
