Ross Taylor, Morne Morkel, Lance Klusener confirm participation for second season of Legends League Cricket
World Giants emerged as the winners of LLC's first edition in Oman in January 2022.
Former international cricketers Ross Taylor, Morne Morkel, and Lance Klusener, have all been confirmed on Wednesday to join the second season of Legends League Cricket which is a massive addition. Taylor is considered as one of the greatest ever to have played in his country, and he recently announced his retirement from international cricket with an emotional farewell. Apart from that, legends like Brett Lee, Dale Steyn, Jacques Kallis, Virender Sehwag, Shane Watson, Irfan Pathan, Yusuf Pathan, and Muttiah Muralitharan have all confirmed their participation in the tournament.
The first edition of the tournament saw three teams, namely India Maharajas, Asia Lions, and World Giants, taking on each other, and it was a grand success. World Giants emerged as the winners in Oman at the start of this year, and already, more than 50 players have confirmed their participation in the second edition. Four franchises are expected to battle it out, and a draft system is set to take place to pick up players into different franchises.

The Legends League Cricket CEO, Raman Raheja, noted that the tournament will take place in four venues which will be finalized soon, and described the excitement over receiving a lot of positive responses from the legends. He added that the fans have also been active with their queries on the confirmed list of players and concluded that the three names Taylor, Morkel, and Klusener will join the league.
“Legends League Cricket will be played in four cities; we will soon finalize the cities which are going to offer maximum cricket action in the coming days,” LLC CEO and co-founder Raman Raheja was quoted as saying by my Khel.
“It is becoming exciting the way we are receiving responses from legendary cricketers. We are also receiving lots of queries from people/ fans across countries about specific cricketers joining the league. Hope with these three new additions, we have brought happiness to some of our cricket fans,” he added.
