SA20 Winners List from 2023 to 2025

The SA20 League has quickly become a key component of South Africa's cricketing calendar, since its inception in 2023. In the two seasons played so far, players from different corners of the world have joined the league and displayed brilliant cricketing action in the land of South Africa.

In the inaugural season, the Sunrisers Eastern Cape triumphed over Pretoria Capitals, winning the maiden title. They followed it up with an even more dominating display in 2024, securing their second title with an 89-run victory over Durban’s Super Giants at the iconic Newlands. Putting a total of 204 for 3, the Sunrisers easily restricted the opponents and won the game.

In the 2025 edition, the Sunrisers Eastern Cape will walk in as the favourites and will look to create history by clinching their third consecutive title. Apart from Sunrisers Eastern Cape, MI Cape Town, Durban Super Giants, and Pretoria Capitals, Paarl Royals and Joburg Super Kings will also be competing in the quest for silverware. The schedule is packed with competitive fixtures, and teams will aim to climb the points table early in the tournament to secure a playoff spot. Veteran wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik will make his SA20 debut this year. He is the first Indian ever to feature in the franchise tournament.
