Sachin Tendulkar commends the determined Sandeep Singh after watching Soorma

Bollywood has been recently following the trend of portraying true incidents on the silver screen and the audiences are also loving watching the same. Moreover, the biopics are being made of the sportspersons which are garnering a lot of attention. The latest addition to the list is Sandeep Singh, the ex-captain of the Indian Hockey team. The movie named ‘Soorma’ has depicted his struggles to make it to the national side. However, Sachin Tendulkar has loved the film and praised Sandeep for his efforts and the star cast for portraying it beautifully.

Diljit Dosanjh has played the role of Sandeep Singh in the movie and Tapsee Pannu is also in the lead role. The movie is set to hit the theatres on July 13 and many have already lauded the trailer which was released last month. It is one of the much-awaited films this year and the list of quality biopics continue to increase in Bollywood.

Sachin Tendulkar was invited for the screening of the movie ‘Soorma’ it seems and he thoroughly enjoyed watching it. He was thrilled to witness the determination of Sandeep Singh to don the blue jersey for his country. He also wished all the luck for the star cast of the movie which should be a blockbuster in the coming few days.

The trend of biopics was started by the master himself as the Sachin: A Billion Dreams movie depicted his journey to the 22 yards and how he fared during his illustrious career. The fans have also witnessed MS Dhoni‘s personal life on the screen and reportedly a sequel of the same is also in the pipeline.
