Sachin Tendulkar humbled with a gesture by a fan
Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar is known to be a fan favorite cricketer. An entire generation of cricket fans grew up watching his game at it was the epitome to them. He inspired them, made dreams reality and watching him play instilled the belief in them that if you chase your dreams with passion and dedication they do come true.
His impact was such in the country that fans named cricket a religion and positioned him as the god of the game. A cricket page called Cricketopia posted their fan moment on Twitter.
They managed to get a ticket of the England v India match at the Lancashire Cricket County Club autographed by the Master on this very day in 1990 and it was the same Test in which Sachin scored his maiden Test ton.

He has always enjoyed the love he has received from fans and definitely acknowledge how much it matters to him. Sachin as soon as he came across the post replied to the Tweet and said that it was such gestures by the fans that has kept him going right from the start of his career to the day when he is a retired cricketer and still without a doubt one of the most loved individuals not just in the country but around the cricketing universe.
Sachin Tweeted quoting the original post and wrote – ‘Gestures like these have kept me going right from my #MaidenCentury till date. Thanks for the love all these years!’
