Umesh Yadav was also named the ‘Man of the Match’ for this special effort. It was the young Prithvi Shaw, who bagged the ‘Man of the Series’. In his maiden international series, the 18-year-old has scored 237 runs in three innings at an average of 79. He also struck his first Test century in this series.
This is the 7th straight win for the Indian cricket team against the Windies. Since 1994, the Carribean side hasn’t won a single Test match in India.
