Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar recently uploaded a video where a young leg-spinner can be seen, showing his guile and trajectory with passion. Going by the writings in Bengali in the background, the kid is likely to be either from West Bengal or Bangladesh. The child prodigy can be seen turning the ball a fair distance as the batters failed to counter him.
Tendulkar, who took several leg-spinners, including Shane Warne, to the cleaners, was in awe of the young man. He uploaded the video on his official Instagram handle and lauded the tweaker for his masterful skills of bowling at such a young age.
“Received this video from a friend It’s brilliant. The love and passion this little boy has for the game is evident,” Tendulkar wrote.

Seeing the video, Rashid Khan, the Afghanistan spinner, praised the tweaker for bowling beautifully and not giving batters many chances. “fire emoji- skills,” Rashid wrote. Interestingly, the child’s action was pretty reminiscent of Rashid, who himself has made batters dance to his tunes.
Rashid recently played for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League. Although he was their leading wicket-taker in the T20 league, the Orange Army finished right at the bottom of the points table. Rashid didn’t get much support from the other bowlers.
Rashid is now set to play his trade for Afghanistan in the 2021 T20 World Cup, scheduled to get underway on October 17. The Afghans are scheduled to play their first game against a Qualifier on Monday, October 25 in Sharjah.
In the meantime, Sachin’s video also caught the eyes of Mumbai Indians, the five-time champion of the Indian Premier League. The Instagram handle of the team replied to Sachin and wrote, “This boy is spinning our heads.” MI failed to qualify for the playoffs in IPL 2021 after finishing fifth in the points table.
Former Australian fast bowler Brett Lee didn’t forget to drop words of praises for the young kid. Lee replied and wrote, “The kid can play.”
From the Bollywood fraternity, Ranveer Singh was left awestruck by the child’s immense potential with the ball in hand. Singh reverted and wrote, “Bamboozled.”
