Sachin Tendulkar has been a part of 463 out of India's 999 matches in ODI cricket.
The Indian cricket team will play its 1000th ODI match on 6th February 2022. And, a man who has been a part of 463 of India’s 999 ODI matches over a time frame of almost a quarter of a century, Sachin Tendulkar opened up on the five best matches that he has been a part of.
The ‘Little Master’ picked the 2011 World Cup final as the best ODI match that he has been a part of. Tendulkar then picked the ‘Desert Storm’ match against Australia that took place in Sharjah in 1998, the 2003 World Cup match against Pakistan as well as the two VB series games that the Indian side played against Australia in Sydney and The Gabba as the five best ODI encounters that he has been a part of.
“World Cup 2011 final, Sharjah sandstorm vs Australia, Centurion 2003 vs Pakistan and the two VB series finals in Sydney and Brisbane vs Australia,” said Tendulkar as quoted by Times of India.

Also, Sachin Tendulkar revealed that he loves the 98 that he scored against Pakistan in the 2003 World Cup at Centurion, and stated that he would love to play that innings once again. The master elaborated that the pre-match tension, as well as the quality of the opposition bowling attack, made that knock a memorable one for him.
“It’s one knock I would love to play again, only for the pre-match tension, the build-up, and the bowling attack which I feel was the best at that time,” concluded Sachin Tendulkar.
