Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has urged social media to leave his children alone and delete all their fake accounts. The legendary cricketer is currently enjoying his post-retirement life and is always active on social media. He can be seen interacting with his fans, sharing glimpses of his personal life and voicing opinions about stuff that matters. However, this time he has used the medium to express his worry about the fake accounts of his children.
Sachin though has somehow kept himself associated with the game and is one of the key members of Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC). Sourav Ganguly and VVS Laxman are also the part of the 3-member group and the trio has selected Ravi Shastri as the head coach of the Indian team recently. Also, they have elected the legendary Rahul Dravid as the coach of U19 and A teams of the Men in Blue.
Concern of the Master
Master blaster has expressed his concern over the fake accounts of his children Sara and Arjun Tendulkar. It is assumed that some impersonator has posted some fake pictures of the cricketer’s teenaged children and of course, it did not go well with the doting father. He took to Twitter and in his message informed his followers to not trust the fake accounts.
His message read, “I reiterate the fact that my children Arjun & Sara are not on twitter. We request @Twitter to remove all such accounts at the earliest. Impersonation wrecks havoc, creates misunderstanding & traumatises us. I appeal to the platforms to take corrective measures immediately.” However, he deleted the last part after some time.
A report has been doing rounds in the media that Sara wants to enter Bollywood, but Sachin never confirmed it. Arjun, who is a budding cricketer, recently got selected in the Mumbai U19 squad.
