Sachin Tendulkar scares medical staff during COVID-19 test with a hilarious prank
Sachin Tendulkar was undergoing the mandatory COVID-19 test ahead of the game against England Legends.
Legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar is currently plying his trade in the Road Safety World Series going on in Raipur. The tournament featuring former stars of the game was originally scheduled for 2020. However, it had to be postponed after just four matches due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A total of six teams – India Legends, South Africa Legends, England Legends, Bangladesh Legends, Sri Lanka Legends and West Indies Legends – are competing in the competition.
Tendulkar is leading the India Legends side in the tournament. In the first game of the competition after the restart, Tendulkar led India Legends to a thumping 10 wicket-win over Bangladesh Legends. He and his former India teammate Virender Sehwag turned back the clock as the legendary duo made a mockery of the 110-run target set by the Bangladesh Legends .
India Legends crossed the finishing line in just 10.1 overs without losing any wicket. Sehwag hit five sixes and 10 fours in his unbeaten knock of 80 off just 35 balls. Tendulkar, on the other hand, played the role of the second fiddle and remained unbeaten on 33.
Sachin Tendulkar’s hilarious prank on medical staff:
India Legends’ next game is against England Legends. And ahead of the game, Tendulkar showed the mood in the camp by pulling off a hilarious prank on the medical staff while undergoing a COVID-19 test. He posted the video of the incident on his Instagram profile with the caption: ” I’ve played 200 Tests and 277 COVID Tests! A little prank to lighten the mood.😋 Kudos to our medical staff here for helping us to play for a cause!”
In the video, Tendulkar was seen scaring the medical staff by screaming to pretend he was hurt while giving his nasal swab sample for the test. It was followed by laughter all around. Tendulkar was then quick to talk to the doctor to ensure that all was well.

Earlier, Sehwag had shared a video of Tendulkar having a session with his physiotherapist. Sehwag had a fun banter with Tendulkar and was seen pulling his leg over his recovery ahead of the upcoming clash. India Legends would be hoping to continue their winning run against England Legends.
