Sachin Tendulkar's game stumps Dravid giving Ganguly a much higher rating
Sachin Tendulkar's recently released game Sachin Saga has rated Sourav Ganguly above Rahul Dravid.
Sachin Tendulkar’s highly anticipated game ‘Sachin Saga’ released on December 6 earlier this month for Android and iOS. The game lets you relive the legend’s journey and has attracted many Sachin fans. The game lets you unlock players as you move up the levels. The game developers have rated Rahul Dravid as the 18th best batsman with a rating of 155.
Sachin Saga: The Ratings
Dravid, the wall, is one of the best Test batsmen that the cricketing world has ever seen. His rating of 155 is below 17 other cricketers which include the likes of Michael Clarke and Chris Gayle. Clarke is rated at 158 whereas Gayle holds a rating of 160.
Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly is rated at 180 which is 25 points ahead of Dravid. Probably the greatest cricketer to ever take the field, Sir Don Bradman is the highest rated batsman in the game with a rating of 200 followed by Sachin Tendulkar and the modern day master Virat Kohli, Kohli fans would surely be delighted with Kohli sharing space with the master blaster.
Dravid or Ganguly?
Rahul Dravid and Sourav Ganguly made their debut in the same Test at Lord’s and had pretty similar careers. In the early 2000s, Ganguly was rated as one of the finest ODI batsmen. Dravid though effective in his own right could not leave a lasting mark on One-Day Internationals but was surely the finest Indian batsman in terms of technique.
The duo seems to be head to head and are incomparable. A rating difference of 25 is amusing for most people but this is not the only blunder the game developers have made. Wasim Akram has been given a rating of 200 but his counterpart Waqar Younis has been ignored from the game. The two spearheaded Pakistan on multiple occasions and were expected to be at par.
There is an update due in the game and it is expected to clear out these aspects.
