It was seen through one of the snippets released by the BCCI on Twitter that Arjun pitched one short to Shikhar Dhawan who was trying to double bluff the teenager by giving room to himself. However, 18-year old Arjun kept his cool and bowled a quick nasty Mitchell Starc-like bouncer, which surprised even the batsman of the calibre of Shikhar Dhawan.

Arjun Tendulkar was even present during nets of Lord’s ahead of the highly anticipated ICC Women’s World Cup finals, where he was bowling a few deliveries to the batter of both India and England. According to reports from Cricket Lounge, young Arjun Tendulkar was constantly clocking 130 and above while bowling in the nets.
Not only that, he also had a go at the England men’s team ahead of the series against South Africa. In an interesting turn of events, England wicket-keeper batsman Jonny Bairstow almost missed out on the series opener after he injured his toes while facing one of the toe-crushing yorkers from the teenager.
At just 18 years of age, the all-rounder is already clocking fierce-some speeds. Even Wasim Akram and Glenn McGrath have spoken in high regards for the son of the Master Blaster.
“Sachin wanted to be a fast bowler. Is his son taller than Sachin? (reporters say yes), so that might help him. But that’s good to see and they have the love for the game. Sachin always wanted to be a fast bowler,” this is what Glenn McGrath had said, saying that he is keen to see him bowl.
