Pakistan is the land where some of the talented fast bowlers in the world is produced only to bamboozle the opposition batsmen in the world. The likes of Mohammad Amir, Hasan Ali, Rumman Raees among many others have starred this year for the team. However, another left-arm pacer Sadaf Hussain has been unravelled by the country but he has appealed to the chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to consider for the national team.

Pakistan has had a superb year in the limited overs format since Sarfraz Ahmed took over the reins from Azhar Ali. They won the ICC Champions Trophy which was held in England when nobody had given them the chance. Then they whitewashed Sri Lanka in ODI and T20I series comprehensively but fell short in Tests against them.

Why is Sadaf disappointed?

Sadaf Hussain, the 28-year-old, has been ruling the domestic circuit for a long time now and has been ignored time and again by the selectors. The youngster has performed extremely well and has scalped a whopping 353 first-class wickets including 24 five-wicket hauls and five 10-wicket hauls in the match. The figures clearly suggest he is good enough to be picked for the national team. But the selection panel has so far ignored him for some reason.

However, the tall fast bowler has requested Najam Sethi, the chairman of PCB to look into his case and provide him with an opportunity to showcase his talent at the highest level. “I only want to say that my bowling records speak for itself, but I would like to appeal to chairman Sethi and other decision makers in Pakistan cricket to see my performance and give me a chance so I could prove myself at the highest level,” Sadaf was quoted as saying by the local media. It remains to be seen if Sethi comes out in support of the bowler and helps him.
