Twitter was noisy last night after Pakistan beat West Indies by 56 runs in a closely fought contest at the Dubai International stadium. The Pakistanis held their nerves and overcame the Darren Bravo scare who brought West Indies close to winning margin before Yasir Shah & Co eventually managed to get rid of him and the tail to give a nail-biting finish to the match.

Former Pakistan off-spinner Saeed Ajmal gave the twitter universe one more reason to laugh and enjoy after goofed with the name of Darren Bravo while congratulating the left-hander for his fighting knock.

At the end of the thrilling final day’s play in Asia’s first ever day-night Test, the Pakistan as well as West Indies were poured in with appreciation in the social media space.Several former cricketers of Pakistan wished the team on its brilliant performance and Ajmal was one of them.

However, the maverick spinner, who is now vying for a comeback wished Dwayne Bravo instead of Darren Bravo, who delayed Pakistan’s win with a stupendous century in the second innings.

Here is what Ajmal tweeted:

All-rounder Dwayne Bravo is not even a part of the West Indies Test squad and it was not hard for others to realise his blunder and here’s how the Twitterati reacted:

Despite remodelling his action – which was deemed illegal for all deliveries by ICC in September 2014, Ajmal was dropped by the selectors after being picked for Pakistan’s tour to Bangladesh in April 2015.
