Sagarika Ghatge responds to Zaheer Khan's new clean shaven look

Former Indian speedster and the captain of Delhi Daredevils in IPL Zaheer Khan sported a new look by taking the Break the Beard campaign and posted a video sharing the same on his twitter handle yesterday. Zaheer is not the first Indian cricketer to sport a new makeover as players like Hardik Pandya, Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane have already taken the campaign and cut their facial hair.

In the video, Zaheer is seen changing his hair and beard style. While he sports a clean shave, he has his hair cut from the sides. Hardik Pandya had posted a similar sort of a video a few days back, While he also cut his beard totally, he decided to stick with the moustache. In the last few days or so it has become more of a trend among the Indian cricketers. Meanwhile, captain, Virat Kohli has posted a picture a few days back with a full grown beard and a caption that he is not ready to break the beard yet.

Zaheer who recently got engaged with Chak de India famed actress Sagarika Ghatge responded to his new look and taking to her Instagram handle posted a picture with him calling him a stranger. “Came back home to this stranger @zakkhan34 doing #breakthebeard rather well,” the caption of her post read. Zaheer was actually looking very different from what he actually looks so Sagarika commented like that.

Other cricketer-Bollywood couples

Meanwhile apart from Zaheer there are several other Bollywood cricketer couple who has got married or is about to tie the knot, While Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh is married to Bollywood beauties Geeta Basra and Hazel Keech, Indian captain Virat Kohli has been dating Anushka Sharma for quite a while as is expected to get engaged in the near future.

Zaheer wasn’t at the best of his game during the recently concluded group stages of IPL 10. He failed to inspire his franchise and eventually they bowed out of the tournament much before the playoffs started. The team had the likes of some serious power hitters and an impressive bowling line-up but despite having a strong team they failed to gel in the crucial junctures which again cost them badly.
