India’s young wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant is having the time of his life after a stunning performance in the just-concluded four-match Border Gavaskar Trophy against Australia. Pant has been bestowed with a lot of praises and appreciation from all over the cricket fraternity for his remarkable knock of 89 runs in the second innings of the last Test.
His knock in Brisbane helped India in breaching the Gabba Fortress and scripting history by winning the prestigious trophy against Australia by 2-1. The visitors made a comeback after the debacle at the Adelaide Oval.
The youngster will be next seen in the four-match Test series against England, starting from February 5 at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. However, before he joins the Indian contingent in Chennai and undergoes the mandatory quarantine period due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Pant reunited with the former Indian captain MS Dhoni and shared some jovial moments with Dhoni and his better-half Sakshi Dhoni.

“Missing you guys ! @_kanvir7 @kabsssss,” Sakshi captioned her post on the photo and video sharing platform.
It is nothing less than a visual treat for the fans to witness two of their favourite cricketers MS Dhoni and Rishabh Pant in a single frame. The picture shared by Sakshi quickly went viral on social media as it garnered over 5 million likes and 1700+ comments within a few hours.

I was feeling the heat each and every day: Rishabh Pant
Rishabh Pant ended the Test series against Australia on a memorable note. However, the youngster was subjected to a lot of hate and criticism in the beginning when he had failed to produce results and had a mediocre run in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League.
Pant constantly worked hard on his fitness and game and his efforts paid off well as he emerged as the 3rd highest run-getter from the Test series by massing 274 runs from three matches.
Speaking about the hate and criticism on social media, the Indian southpaw had said, “I was feeling the heat each and every day, it’s part and parcel of the game. But as an individual, you need to believe in yourself. I was lucky that I had a few people around me who told me to keep believing in myself and just keep working hard.”
