The cricketer turned commentator Sanjay Manjrekar is known for his funny and witty humour. The former Indian cricketer once again gave an insight into his amusing sense of humour as he posted a picture of a technician who visited his home on Twitter. The technician can be seen sporting a PPE kit along with gloves and masks.
Owing to the rise in the number of coronavirus cases in India, people are advised to follow certain health guidelines while visiting outdoors to protect themselves from testing positive for the deadly virus. Following the suite, the technician who visited Sanjay Manjrekar’s home was covering himself from head to toe. Taking a friendly jibe at the outfit donned by the WiFi technician, Sanjay wrote on Twitter, “Person from NASA has come to fix my WiFi”

The COVID-19 cases tally in India has crossed the mark of 1 million with over 27,000 deaths. As a result, the citizens are strictly told to follow all the precautionary measures while going out of their homes. Also, there is a provision of fine if someone is seen not wearing a face mask while being at a public place.
Sanjay Manjrekar’s professional career
Though Manjrekar failed to make a mark with his bat in the cricket world, he is now working as a television commentator and media pundit. In his cricketing career, he has represented India in 37 Tests and 74 ODI Internationals. In the matches played he has scored 2,043 and 1,994 runs in Tests and ODIs respectively.
Earlier this year, Sanjay was removed from BCCI’s commentary panel for India’s International assignments for his comments against some of the national players. The former cricketer had to face a lot of criticism for his on-air argument with co-commentator Harsha Bhogle over the visibility of the pink ball during India’s 1st-ever day-night Test.
Also, during the 2019 World Cup, he had termed Ravindra Jadeja as ‘bits and pieces’ cricketer for which he was subjected to a lot of trolls and hate. Though Sanjay had apologized for both the incidents, it didn’t go well with the BCCI and as a result, he was removed from the commentary panel.
