Sarfaraz Khan, the 18-year old dashing batsman is a popular name in the country. He made an early entry into professional cricket playing for the India U19 team at a young age of 15. Sarfaraz went on to become the youngest player to feature in the IPL. Though he has seen the high’s the last season of the IPL wasn’t the best for him as the Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise preferred to sit him out since he wasn’t considered fit enough. To tackle it out Sarfaraz is all set to fly to England, where he will train and also play matches.

Sarfraz played for the India Under-19 team in the 2014 & 2016 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup and is the record holder for the most number of 50+ scores (7) in the tournament history.

He broke a record again, when he was signed up for 50 Lakhs by the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in 2015, to become the youngest player to play in the cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL).

In the second game, he proved his selection right with an unbeaten 45 off just 21 balls against Rajasthan Royals. In 2016, he produced an unbeaten 35 off just 10 balls to take his side to a huge total of 227 runs. But surprisingly he was dropped from the side soon, which was because of his lack of fitness.
