Sarfraz Ahmed compares himself with Virat while justifying his aggression on the field

A lot has been said about the aggression shown by the players on the field these days even as their behaviour has come under the scanner as well. Similarly, Sarfraz Ahmed while leading the side is known for being more animated and is never shy to be critical of his own teammates if they don’t give their 100 percent. Many have suggested him to tone down his aggression as he himself has justified his behaviour at times. However, the wicketkeeper-batsman has once again come up with a statement and has compared himself with Virat Kohli now.

The Indian skipper is known for his brutal aggression and always wants to win the game for his country. He expects the same from the other 10 players as well. However, he also expresses his disappointment right away if some player makes the mistake or fails to stop the ball on the field. Virat is also known to give send-offs to the opposition in his own way as ICC is often criticised for overlooking the same.

Sarfraz confused

According to Saj Sadiq, an editor in Pak Passion, Sarfraz Ahmed was not amused with the way he has been targeted over his aggressive nature on the field. He compared himself with Virat Kohli during the same and seemed confused about him not being questioned. “If Virat Kohli says something then people like it, if I say it then they say he’s being so abusive,” he said on Sunday.

Recently, there were rumours about the rifts between Sarfraz and Hasan Ali during the New Zealand tour when Pakistan were struggling during the ODI series. It was seen that the bowler was not happy with his captain and ignored his suggestion while bowling walking away from him furiously. However, both clarified later that the incident took place in the heat of the moment and both were really good friends.
