Satire: As Jadeja shines again, dejected trollers quit Twitter
Satire: As Jadeja shines again, dejected trollers quit Twitter: And he does it again! Sir Ravindra Jadeja on the first day of the second Test was the pick of the bowlers for Team India yet again. Along with Ashwin, he played a vital role in bundling the Proteas team for a low score of 215. Jadeja got 4 crucial wickets and once again silenced his critics who were saying that it was just a one-off performance in Mohali.
While people showered heaps of praise for his performance, there was a group who seemed to be dejected. According to exclusive reports, these people handled special twitter accounts which had just one thing to do, troll Sir Jadeja. Some of these twitter handles are now either quitting Twitter or else finding other Indian cricketers whom they can troll so that it doesn’t hamper their following.
Here’s what one such twitter handle posted as there parting words,”As Sir Ravindra Jadeja comes up with another brilliant performance, our handle @sirjeekimaaro seems to be of no use now. People have started unfollowing us and haven’t retweeted or favorited our tweets since Jadeja’s comeback into the side. So we would like to hang our boots and it’s time we quit twitter. Adios, to all our remaining followers, if the time comes, will meet again!”
Meanwhile, there were those as well who anticipated this situation and have moved on to trolling other players instead. One such twitter handle has even deleted all the previous Jadeja trolling posts and has now started targeting other players like Stuart Binny. One of his tweet said, “First Sharmajee (referring to Rohit Sharma) and now Jaddu! Team India is making a habit of performing better. It seems cricket is changing and its time for us to move on haters. He’s giving us back with superb performances. Pick another one and keep the trolling going.”
When Jadeja was contacted about this, he refused to comment and said my ball will answer these guys. Well, he certainly has been doing so and we hope he fires for India in the years to come.
