The destructive cricketer who shattered Englishman Stuart Broad in the World T20 in 2007, was spotted in Bandra. To be exact, Singh was seen entering Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan‘s house. The sight of Yuvraj making his way into ‘Mannat’ gives rise to a plethora of questions. What might be the reason behind catching up with the ‘Baadsha of Bollywood’?
Was it just a friendly visit? Was it to share his emotions following the omission from the Indian team? Or is it that the handsome cricketer his planning to step into Bollywood? Well, these questions are yet to be answered. For now, we will have to settle with just the news of Yuvraj Singh visiting the iconic actor.
Along with Yuvraj Singh, another left-handed batsman Suresh Raina was also ignored for the Sri Lanka series. While many claimed that Yuvraj’s exclusion from the team was because of his struggling form, the others believe that the two cricketers failed the yo-yo test at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru which led to their omission.
However, MSK Prasad made it clear that Yuvraj Singh was not dropped but rested. According to Prasad, Yuvraj was given a rest because of giving the youngsters a chance who will be tried out for the next 4-5 months. The main motive is to filter out the players who will take part in the 2019 ICC World Cup for India. Prasad also mentioned that former skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s performance will be thoroughly analyzed during the tour.
