Shah Rukh Khan was pleasured meeting one of his favourite all-time cricketers
Khan, the team owner, would be hoping for Bravo and Co to make a comeback after back-to-back defeats.
Shah Rukh Khan is a proud owner of the Trinbago Knight Riders who are currently playing the ongoing edition of the Caribbean Premier League. His franchise, captained by Dwayne Bravo, commenced their campaign with a resounding 100-run victory over Kieron Pollard’s St Lucia Stars. Colin Munro and Brendon McCullum’s half-centuries helped the Knights post a mammoth 195/6.
Fawad Ahmed and Dwayne Bravo nipped out three wickets each to carve the stupendous victory. In the second match, Andre Russell, single-handedly, took Jamaica Tallawahs to victory against Bravo’s men. He picked up a hat-trick in his last over and then notched a 40-ball century to add to TKR’s agony. The team also flattered to deceive against St Kitts and Nevis Patriots and lost by 42 runs.
Shah Rukh Khan praises Ian Bishop
After three matches at Queens Sports Club in Trinidad, they will move to the Darren Sammy National Cricket Stadium where they will lock horns with St Lucia on August 16. In the meantime, Khan, the team owner, would be hoping for Bravo and Co to make a comeback. He was spotted rooting for his franchise in a couple of home matches on August 10 and 11 respectively.
After the match on 11th, he had an interview with Ian Bishop, the former Windies cricketer. Later, he also mentioned Bishop as one of his favourite all-time cricketers. After the interaction with the actor, Bishop posted some pictures of the interview and hailed the veteran for his humble characteristics.
He wrote, “Got the chance to meet King Khan tonight at the #HeroCPL2018. Such an aura about him, and yet a sense of humility. #SRK”

The 52-year-old was quick to spot Bishop’s message and he hailed him. Moreover, he also thanked everyone for the love and support he has been getting in the Caribbean Islands.
The actor replied and wrote, “Was a pleasure meeting you sir. Couldn’t say it then but one of my all time fav players. Please do say a big hello to the commentary team and Mel when u see them. Thks for the love.”
