Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in a different role during tonight’s match between India and Bangladesh in World T20 2016.

Shah Rukh will join former Pakistani pacer Shoaib Akhtar in the commentary box for the first 30 minutes of the match. He was apparently scheduled to watch the India-Pakistan match at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, where he owns an IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders. But he couldn’t make it to the game and apologized to the crowd on social media.

India will face Bangladesh in a must-win game. The home team has to win both their upcoming matches against Bangladesh and Australia with handsome margins to not only gain the points required to qualify for the semi-finals but also to up their net run rate. The India-Bangladesh match will take place at the M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru, where Bangladesh was defeated by Australia in a tightly fought match.

India lost their first match to New Zealand at Nagpur and won against Pakistan in Kolkata. They are currently at the 3rd spot behind New Zealand who have already qualified for the next stage and Australia, who will play their last match against India, which could be a virtual knockout match.

Bangladesh, on the other hand, has lost their matches to Australia and Pakistan and has just India and New Zealand to go now. They also need to win both of their matches if they want an outside chance to qualify for the semi-finals.

Shah Rukh will be at the Bengaluru stadium for the promotion of his new movie Raees which is set in 90s Gujarat and also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Pakistani actress Mahira Khan. The movie’s planned release date is July 3, 2016.
