Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi has been in the news since there were speculations of him being given a farewell series to retire from international cricket. While on the other hand, Gautam Gambhir continues to hog his share of limelight for holding a stand against biopics being made on cricketers. A tweet from the past resurfaced today where Afridi answers a fan’s question and names the cricketer he hates the most.
Afridi had posted on the microblogging site Twitter, asking his fans to engage in a question-answer session. He wrote, “salam everyone im free for half n hour if some wants to ask any question so im available , ur time starts now.”

The conflict between Afridi and Gambhir happened during the One Day International (ODI) series in 2006. The leg-spinner was bowling at the Indian opener and everything was going fine until Gambhir ran into Afridi while running between the wickets and things got heated and more than a few words were exchanged.

Fortunately, the umpires and the captain intervened to stop it from progressing further. However, the match referee, Roshan Mahanama imposed a fine of 95% of the match fee for Afridi and 65% of the match fee to the Indian left-hander.
The duo kept the fight going as even after a few years. In 2011, Afridi was spotted saying that Indians are not large-hearted like the Pakistanis. For this, Gambhir lashed out at former Pakistan skipper saying that he is still immature.
This is not the only instance where Gambhir lost his cool. The southpaw has had a history of bad temperament on-field and had been in such situations on quite a few occasions in the past.
