I was sure Shakib would do good in any fitness test: Coach
“I was sure Shakib would do good in any fitness test. He worked really hard for five weeks at BKSP last time. The whole fitness program was led by Athletics coach Kafi as well as Boxing coach Bhashan. They did a great job. Besides I mention Shakib’s commitment. Given the amount of effort, he put in it was quite evident he would do great. He was away from practice for a month, but 13.7 is a very good score. Congratulation to him,” said Nazmul to bdcrictime.com.
Nazmul has taught several cricketers all his life and Shakib in one of his students only. He expects that the 34-year-old would do wonders on the field even if he returning after a long period. Shakib, along with around 100 cricketers are on the draft list for Bangabandhu T20 Cup. Shakib is listed as an ‘A’ grade cricketer in the same list.
“With the attitude, Shakib is showing, I hope his goal to surpass himself comes stays firm. I want to see this on the field. Everyone wants to see this. Hopefully, he will be able to perform well real soon,” Nazmul added.
