Shakib Al Hasan, the experienced Bangladesh all-rounder, is currently in the middle of a rough patch in his cricketing career for the reason that he is recovering from a finger injury. The injury has turned out to be detrimental to such an extent that his chances of participation in the World Cup next year in England and Wales has also come under the clouds.
However, despite him being out of the national team, he has everything to cheer. Today, his daughter Alaina Hasan Abri celebrated her third birthday and the 31-year-old was cock-a-hoop on the auspicious occasion. He shared a picture where Alaina was seen kissing him on the cheeks. Moreover, he thanked god for blessing him with the baby girl three years ago.
He captioned the picture and wrote, “Thank you almighty Allah for blessing me with the best gift of my life! On this day an angel came into my life who fulfilled every wish I ever wished for. Happy birthday to my baby girl we love you more than anything!! @shishir_75,”

When Shakib met Shishir
Shakib and his better-half Umme Ahmed Shishir tied the knots on December 12, 2012. The duo met when Shakib became the first cricketer from Bangladesh to earn a county stint in England. The Jessore-born cricketer represented Worcestershire during that year. During the same time, Shishir was there for her study purposes. Both started seeing each other during that time.
Shishir was born in Narayanganj, Bangladesh in 1989, but moved to the United States of America (USA) when she was eight years old. She is currently a software engineer. She also has featured in quite a few advertisements for Banglalink, one of the largest cellular services in Bangladesh, along with Shakib. They are also brand ambassadors of the company ever since April 2016.
