Shane Warne assaults a porn actor in a London bar

Former Australian spinner Shane Warne, who has a fair reputation of getting in the news for his link-ups with women, made the headlines again, this time at a London pub. Warne is accused of hitting an adult industry actor, Valerie Fox, in her face during a brawl at Loulou’s, a lavish bar in Mayfair, London. Fox who has appeared in dozens of adult films, reported the incident to Westminster police before taking to Twitter to slam the Australian bowling legend.

The local police are currently investigating the incident to delve and derive what has exactly happened. The CCTVs are being inspected for any captured footage of the alleged assault. Witnesses inside the nightclub also revealed that they saw Warne arguing with Fox on Friday night before she fell to the floor holding her face. Fox was also at the center of a scandal with politician Nigel Farage earlier in 2017 after the pair reportedly kissed and groped each other while on a transatlantic flight.

30-year-old Fox tweeted a series of images of her bruises and injuries she allegedly sustained at the hands of Warne. She also shared a photo of a Metropolitan Police incident card to prove that she visited Westminster police station and saying: ‘The crime we will investigate is assault.’ She also tweeted, ‘And no, I’m not lying. Just because you’re famous doesn’t mean you can hit women and get away with it.’

Warne has been involved with a series of women

The Australian has been involved with quite a few women starting from his wife Simone Callahan to actress Elizabeth Hurley in the recent past. The 48-year-old father-of-three split from wife Simone in 2005, before they reconciled in 2007 only to split again. The spinner was also engaged to Hurley but the relationship suffered the same fate. He was most recently linked to 32-year-old Australian bikini model Emily Sears.

Warne retired from international cricket in 2007 and now works as a member of the Sky Sports commentary team in the UK and as a pundit for Channel Nine in Australia.
