Be it with the red ball or the white ball, Australia managed to produce many stalwarts in the past few decades. From Steve Waugh to Ricky Ponting– Australia’s squad was considered as ‘The Invincibles’ due to their domination in all forms of cricket. It was like a dream-come-true for every cricket team at that time to beat Australia in a Test or ODI series.

Meanwhile, at a point when the world is at a standstill due to the outbreak pandemic, many cricketers are spending their quarantine time across social media. Shane Warne, who was an integral part of Australia’s squad in all formats, named an all-time Aussie Test squad from the guys he played with. Fox Cricket shared Warne’s Test side and also asked fans to opine on the same.

Shane Warne picked the opening duo of Matthew Hayden and Michael Slater. Many fans were stunned by Warne’s decision of including Slater instead of Langer. In the middle-order, the leg-spinner went with the combination of Ricky Ponting and Mark Waugh, who are known to provide stability to any squad which they are a part of.

When Fox Cricket asked fans to opine on the Test team picked up by Warne, many fans argued that the leg-spinner should have included names like Justin Langer, Brett Lee and Stuart MacGill in the team.

Warne is regarded as one of the most decorated spinners to have played the game. In an illustrious career spanning over 145 Tests, the leg-spinner scalped 708 wickets and etched his name into the history books. He also has 37 five-wicket hauls under his belt.
