Shane Watson's international cricket career in numbers
Australian all-rounder Shane Watson signed off his 14-year international cricket career along with Australia’s elimination from the World T20 2016 Super 10 stage. Watson had been a highly rated all-rounder in Australia. His performances peaked after 2007-08 period after his great success in Twenty20 format, especially in the Indian Premier League. Watson retired from Test cricket in 2015 after the Ashes on England soil and announced his retirement from limited overs cricket as well during the ongoing World T20, which is his last commitment to his nation in the sport.
