Shikhar Dhawan, Chris Gayle hit the dance floor at CEAT Awards
The fun part of the awards show was when Chris Gayle shared the stage with Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan.
Veteran Windies cricketer Chris Gayle is known to be a very jovial and a free spirited character. The big Jamaican was recently seen in action in the 2018 edition of the Indian Premier League. In the tournament, he turned up for his new side, the Kings XI Punjab. After being benched for the first few games off the season, Gayle finally found a spot in the playing eleven for his side.
He showed some serious muscle to score a fifty in his first outing for the Kings. He backed it up with a thundering ton that came up next. He showed the world yet again that he still is the ‘Universe Boss’ in cricket. Gayle continued his onslaught and went on to play a couple of more handy innings for his side. Unluckily for him and his side, the Kings XI Punjab failed to make it to the playoffs of the season.
Well, Chris Gayle did not leave India after the end of the road for the Kings. He stayed back for a few more days and was recently seen in action in Mumbai. Before one could jump to conclusions, here is the catch. He was in action not on the cricket field but on the stage. Gayle was seen shaking his legs at the CEAT Awards in Mumbai.
The awards night saw Rashid Khan bag the T20 Cricketer of the Year award and Virat Kohli bagged the top honors at the function this year as well. The fun part of the awards show was when Chris Gayle shared the stage with Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan.
All the three players were asked to shake their legs on the stage by the anchor Gaurav Kapoor. Also, Shikhar Dhawan taught his special ‘jatt ji’celebration to Gayle. The Windies cricketer learnt the style pretty easily and performed it with perfection. Later, Chris Gayle was also seen dancing to the tunes of a popular Bollywood number, ‘Jumma Chumma’.
