Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan slammed a school teacher, who slapped a class-three boy for not answering his attendance last week. The incident took place in in the Utrethia district of Lucknow, and the teacher was caught red handed in the CCTV footage which led to her suspension from the Institute.

The clip went viral on social media, and many people condemned the incident, and supported the little boy. Ritesh, a student of St. John Vaidyanya School, was sitting on the first bench when his name was called out by the teacher, as she was taking the attendance for the class. The boy did not stand up when his name was called out. The teacher then slapped the little boy continuously and slammed his head against the blackboard.

Ritesh fell down unconsciously on the floor, later on, the teacher was dismissed after CCTV footage showcased the culprit’s action. Ritesh’s parents also complained to against the teacher.

Dhawan tweets on the issue

Dhawan lashed out at the teacher and said that she should also receive similar treatment. He wrote “Glad that shit lady got out of d school nd should hav gt d same beating too as a fairwell fr her..”

A child abuse case will clearly put the teacher behind the bars. The parents haven’t taken such actions yet, and it will be seen in the due course if the teacher gets punished by the law. Dhawan has always taken a stand against the wrong doings. The left-handed batsman is a father of three, is a complete family man. He keeps posting interesting clips and photos of his family during their trips and vacations.

Dhawan will be seen next in the ODI series against Australia, starting from 17th September. He is in good form, and was awarded the man of the series in the Test series and also received the man of the match award in the 1st ODI against Sri Lanka.
