Indian cricketers are subjected to the gruelling schedule where the athletes play the sport almost throughout the 12 months of the year. During the gap in between the matches, players tend to spend most of their with families and friends only if their external commitments permit.
That said, the families and kids of the cricketers are devoid of spending quality time with members of the men in blue. The cricketers, being humans after all, also feel the blues due to time spent away from home citing national duties.
As a matter of fact, it was evident through Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan latest tweet that even he misses his home and his dear ones. In the snippet uploaded by the southpaw, his son Zoraver is seen trying to identify his dad while the men in blue were singing the national anthem during the start of the 2nd ODI against New Zealand.
Dhawan’s wife Ayesha Mukherjee along with son Zoraver geared up for the match while the latter was visibly excited to see his dad singing the anthem along with the other members of the Indian side. He asks his mother, “Is that Papa?”. Ayesha replies by saying “Yup”.
Shikhar Dhawan tweeted the heart-melting video by claiming that his love and blessings would forever be with his child and that it was overwhelming to see Zoraver trying to identify his dad in TV.

Dhawan himself has gone through a turbulent time personally as he pulled out of the Sri Lankan series and the ODI series against Australia to treat his ailing mother and wife. It was heartening to see that the elegant left-hander coming back and with a bang against Kiwis as he smashed a crucial 68 in a must-win situation for India.
