The Indian cricketers are emerging as the role models not only on the field but off the field as well. In the recent times, the fans have been seen copying their favorite cricketers in every possible aspect. The cricketers seem to be setting the trends and the fans follow it up. One of the most popular recent trends has been the ‘break the beard’ trend. Shikhar Dhawan and Suresh Raina are the newest entrants in the list.

The break the beard challenge is all about getting rid of the stubble that the players have grown over the last few months. Having the beard was the style quotient a month ago. Now, the newest trend sees the players getting rid of the usual and coming up with ‘cleaner’ looks now. The trend started with Ravindra Jadeja cleaning up his royal thickly grown beard.

However, Indian skipper Virat Kohli did not seem to be liking his new look and had a good laugh about it when he first saw it. Other players like Ajinkya Rahane and Hardik Pandya joined in the list to take the break the beard challenge soon.

The new additions to the club

The most recent addition to the club was of the former Indian pace bowler Zaheer Khan. Zaheer came up with a totally clean shaven look after taking the challenge. And now, Suresh Raina and Shikhar Dhawan have taken the challenge.

After taking the challenge, Suresh Raina posted the video on the social media and noted that his daughter was not liking the bearded avatar. Raina tweeted, “I realised tht my little daughter is not so fond of the beard so this 1 for you Gracia.Presenting my#BreakTheBeard look #newlook #summerlook”

On the other hand, Shikhar Dhawan found his new swag in the french cut beard. Dhawan was seen doing his trademark moustache twirl in the video as well. He wrote, “IPL might be over but swag is timeless. Here is my wakhra #BreakTheBeard look. Stay Unique, look unique #NewLook”
