Pakistani all-rounder Shoaib Malik has achieved a rare of feat of striking six sixes in an over in T10 cricket match played between SAF Green and SAF Red. It was charity game played for the former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi’s foundation.
Malik became the first one to tonk six massive hits in a single over in the newest and shortest format recently introduced the game. The bowler who suffered the thumping was his Pakistani teammate Babar Azam who tried his hand at some off-spin bowling.
Azam receives a heavy beating
Babar came in to bowl the seventh over of the innings when the score read 104/1, with Malik looking in full flow to strike the ball. The first ball was hit straight for a huge six over long-on which also brought up his half century in just 15 balls.
The next ball was struck on the on-side region for another massive six and the right-hander appeared to be in a mood of enjoying his way in the middle. The third hit also flew off with the same intensity and the result was also a couple of rows deep into the crowd as the fans cheered him to keep going.
After three huge sixes, Malik was unstoppable and rearing to hit them all over and out. The fourth delivery by Babar was thumped straight towards the sightscreen for another massive six. And then the rest of the over was just about the repeat telecast of what happened in the first four balls. Malik scored 84 runs in his fierce and impressive knock off just 20 balls which helped his team achieve a mammoth total of 201 for the loss of just one wicket in the ten over game.
