ICC’s special wish for Shoaib Malik
There were wishes flooding in from everywhere for the star cricketer. In addition to all this, he also got a special wish from the International Cricket Council. ICC uploaded a highlights package of one of Shoaib Malik’s best knocks. During the 2009 Champions Trophy in South Africa, he smashed 124 against arch-rivals India.
The century made Pakistan beat India in that crucial match in Centurion. To date, that win is one of only two victories that Pakistan has got against India in an ICC event match. Malik is going strong in various leagues and soon might produce another epic knock in the upcoming ICC World T20 2021, if he is called back in the side.
