Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant to lead India A against New Zealand A
Each of the five games featuring India A and New Zealand A will take place in Visakhapatnam.

In what can be termed as an interesting move, the Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced multiple captains for the five match ODI series against New Zealand A to be played in Visakhapatnam, commencing on October 6 onwards. In-form batsman Shreyas Iyer will lead the India A side in the first three games while wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant will be the skipper for the rest of the two matches.
Iyer has also been named the captain for the two warm up games against New Zealand ahead of the 3-match ODI series. Both the practise games will be held in Mumbai. The squad will see some major changes after the first three ODIs, as Prithvi Shaw, Mayank Agarwal, Shreyas Iyer, Deepak Hooda and Shreevats Goswami will be not participate in the rest of the two games. However, the bowling line up will remain more or less the same.
Vizag to host all five encounters
Each of the five games will take place in Visakhapatnam, with the final game to be played on October 15. The New Zealand team will play the two warm up games in Brabourne stadium in Mumbai on 17 and 19 October. Post which they will take part in the limited overs series against India.

For the last two one-dayers: AR Easwaran, Prashant Chopra, Ankit Bawne, Shubman Gill, Baba Aparajith, Rishabh Pant (c & wk), Shahbaz Nadeem, Karn Sharma, Vijay Shankar, Shardul Thakur, Siddarth Kaul, Mohammed Siraj, Basil Thampi.
