Shreyas Iyer was last seen in action for India was on 8th December 2020, in the third T20I against the Australian side in the land of the kangaroos. After that, a marathon Test season began for India, where they will play 8 consecutive Test matches on the trot, and limited overs specialists like Shreyas Iyer got a well-earned breather.
Iyer was seen posting a lot of fitness videos on his Instagram account. And now, he has posted a dance video with Yuzvendra Chahal’s wife and YouTube celebrity Dhanashree Verma. Verma is a YouTuber by profession who posts a lot of dance and fitness videos. At the time of writing, she has a whopping 2.27 Million subscribers for her You Tube Channel.
Iyer and Dhanashree were seen flexing their muscles, and dancing with well-coordinated moves in a gymnasium, and the video of the same was posted by the cricketer on Instagram. You can see the video of the duo dancing below.

Shreyas Iyer was in good form last year
As far as his performances are concerned, Iyer was in good form with the willow in the year 2020. The right-handed middle order batsman scored 331 runs in 9 innings at an average of 41.38 in ODI cricket last year, and scored his runs at a strike rate of close to 100(95.39). Even in the T20Is that he played last year, Iyer was in good form.
In the 9 innings that he featured in T20I cricket, the 26-year-old scored 203 runs, and averaged 33.83. Also, Iyer scored his runs at a strike rate of 135.33. But then, what was so impressive about Iyer last year was his performance in the 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) that was held in the UAE, where he stepped up for his side, both with the bat as well as the leader.
Under his dynamic leadership, the Delhi Capitals(DC) side reached the maiden final of the 2020 edition, only to fall at the final hurdle to the Mumbai Indians (MI). With the bat too, Iyer was in scintillating form for his side. He emerged as the fourth highest run scorer in the 13th IPL edition, plundering 519 runs at an average of 34.60. Iyer will next be seen in action in the limited overs T20I series against England at home, that starts on 12th March 2021.
