Siddarth Kaul plays a prank on Sunrisers Hyderbad teammate and goes viral
After the encounter against CSK, as the team were travelling back to Hyderabad for their next game, bowler Siddarth Kaul played a prank on his Sunrisers teammate.
The Sunrisers Hyderabad has been the team to beat in the 11th edition of the Indian Premier League. With 9 wins already under their belt, the franchise from Hyderabad has become the first team to qualify for the playoffs this season.
The victories have been a result of the all-rounder performance from the franchise, who have batted, bowled and fielded above excellence in the tournament. However, the result did not go in their favour when they played the Chennai Super Kings.
In their encounter against Dhoni’s men, the Sunrisers were put to bat first against the swinging deliveries from Deepak Chahar and Shardul Thakur. After scraping through the powerplay overs, the Sunrisers began picking up the momentum as they started attacking the Chennai spinners.
A clinical second half for the Super Kings:
Furthermore, the openers carried the momentum till the batting strategic timeout, where they lost Shikhar Dhawan after he tried to scoop Dwayne Bravo over the fielder at short fine-leg with the partnership yielding 123 runs. Skipper Kane Williamson followed suit, as Sunrisers began to crumble under pressure against the Super Kings.
On the other hand, the Super Kings began the innings on a supreme note clearing the boundary at ease. What they did extremely well was rotating the strike in between the innings, to ensure that they got closer to the target at the end of the 10th over. After etching a partnership of 131 runs, Watson got out to a brilliant throw from the skipper before he picked up the catch of Suresh Raina.
A cool and composed MS Dhoni alongside the centurion Ambati Rayudu ensured that there were no hiccups in CSK’s chase of 180 in Pune.
After the encounter against CSK, as the team were travelling to Bangalore for their next game, bowler Siddarth Kaul played a prank on the veteran all-rounder Shakib al-Hasan on the plane. The bowler rolled a paper and tried to poke it into Shakib’s nose in the flight, as the bowler’s first attempt went in vain. Shakib was seen rubbing his nose off and going back to sleep.
