Former Indian captain MS Dhoni is an absolute fan favorite. Being the only captain to win all the ICC trophies including the ICC 2007 T20 World Cup, ICC 2011 World Cup, and Champions Trophy 2013, he has earned a lot of applause and popularity from all across the globe.

There are many regions in India where Dhoni is treated as nothing less than a demigod. However, having a massive fan-following doesn’t mean that he has no interaction with the trolls or haters. With the fame comes the criticism too and there have been many times when the former Indian captain has been subjected to criticism on social media.

Though Dhoni is a cool and calm customer on the cricket field, he has a maverick and jovial personality and doesn’t fail to entertain the cricket fans with his sense of humor. Almost all the cricket fans are aware of Dhoni’s wit as he has been often heard speaking from the stump mic. Meanwhile, the Indian skipper also doesn’t hesitate to give it back to the haters.

Despite being one of the most followed Indian cricketers on social networking sites, MS likes to live a private life and has maintained a dignified distance from social media platforms. However, there was a time when the wicketkeeper-batsman was an active personality on Twitter and loved to interact with the fans or give them update regarding the game or his life in general.

MS Dhoni’s old tweet resurfaces on Twitter

Recently, a few tweets made by Dhoni in 2012 resurfaced on Twitter and have grabbed all the headlines once again. In one of the viral Tweets, MS gave a fitting reply to a Twitterati who trolled him for spending time on social media instead of focusing on his batting and wicketkeeping.

In July 2012, just before India toured Sri Lanka, MS posted a fun tweet and asked the users to spot the difference between the images. Reacting to the post, a troll requested Dhoni to concentrate on the game. The former Indian skipper took note of the criticism and gave a sarcastic reply by asking the user for some tips.

“@msdhoni plz concentrate on ur batting, not in Twitter,” the user commented.

Dhoni responded by saying, “Sir yes sir, any tips sir”
