The 58th match of IPL 2022 between Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals turned out to be quite an interesting one for different reasons. However, if there was one reason that left the internet talking, it was a very low, rather funny stance sported by Ravi Ashwin while facing spinner Kuldeep Yadav in the game.

While Royals batted first, they lost the wicket of ace batter Jos Buttler early on, and much to everyone’s surprise, Ravi Ashwin walked down the crease. However, Ashwin didn’t disappoint one bit as he went on to smash his maiden T20 fifty while scoring a crucial 50 off 38 balls. However, when he faced Kuldeep, he almost came up with a sitting stance to whack the spinner for a maximum.

Here is how fans reacted to Ravi Ashwin’s low stance

Mitchell Marsh’s all-round brilliance led Delhi Capitals home easily in Navi Mumbai

Due to Ashwin’s 50 and Devdutt Padikkal’s 48, the Royals posted a fine total of 160 runs on the board. After the all-rounder’s fifty, he was undone by Mitchell Marsh who turned out to be the hero of the game while flaunting brilliance in both departments of the game. None of the other RR batters shined on the occasion and when DC came to chase the target, all the work was done quite easily by Marsh and Warner.

Marsh played a surreal knock of 89 off 62 balls and Warner pitched in with an unbeaten fifty as DC won the game by eight wickets with 11 balls to spare. With their sixth win of the season, the Capitals have kept their playoff hopes alive and with the fight getting quite intense in the middle for the next round, it remains to be seen how far can DC make it. Talking of the points table of IPL 2022, DC is currently holding onto the fifth slot while RR remains in the third slot after the latest game.
