Australia’s Ashleigh Gardener was another prominent gainer in the latest update as she jumped 18 places in the Top-20.
ICC Women’s T20 World Cup is just one week away. This will be the second time that a standalone edition of the tournament will be staged following the 2018 version which was held in the Caribbean. With the marquee tournament just around the corner, plenty of women tournaments were staged in the past month and, as a result, there’s been plenty of movement in the Women’s T20I rankings following the completion of T20I tri-series involving Australia, England, and India, three-match T20I series between New Zealand and South Africa.
England’s Fran Wilson broke into the top 100 in the latest ICC Women’s T20I rankings following handy knocks in the recently-concluded T20I tri-nation series, although it wasn’t enough for her side to enter the finals. Indonesia’s Yulia Anggraeni gained 20 places and leapfrogged to the 64th position after her whirlwind 68-ball 112 against the Philippines.
