Atleast win your own home series: Aakash Chopra shuts down Pakistani fan

"I love your positivity but janaab, aap Apne ghar ki series toh Jeet lo (But at least win your own home series). With Australia, England and NZ at home. Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and WI in away series, Pakistan should have reached the WTC finals already," the 45-year-old replied to the Pakistan fan's tweet on Twitter.

Post India's dominating show on Day 1 of the first Test, Chopra posted on the micro-blogging site Twitter: "What if 'the best chance to beat India in India' turns out to be a damp squib?" To this a Pakistani fan tweeted: "Only Pakistan have ability to beat India in India." However, it was Chopra's reply that caught the limelight.

Pakistan skipper Babar Azam had himself admitted that his team's home season hasn't panned out as per the expectations of the people in the country. Pakistan have completed their World Test Championship 2021-23 cycle and are tottering at the seventh position on the nine-team points table.
