AB de Villiers, the ex-South African cricket icon, has yet again showcased his affinity for Indian culture. Widely known for his passion for music and entertainment, de Villiers' latest musical has caught the attention of fans worldwide.
De Villiers, who retired from international cricket in 2018, launched his new YouTube show called "The 360 Show". In this show, he discusses various cricketing plans and strategies and invites guests to analyse matches. With the Indian Premier League (IPL) just days away, de Villiers used the opportunity to start off his show by humming a Hindi song he claimed was his favourite.

The song de Villiers sang was "Suraj Ki Baahon Mein" from the 2011 Bollywood film "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara," starring Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, Abhay Deol, and Farhan Akhtar. The former Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) star hummed the catchy tune with enthusiasm, showcasing his love for Indian cinema and music.

De Villiers' affection for Indian culture is well-known. His exceptional batting during his illustrious career with RCB in the IPL was complemented by his embrace of the local language and customs.
His connection with India and its vibrant entertainment industry has continued even after he retired from all forms of cricket following the 2021 IPL season. He even proposed his then-girlfriend-now-wife Danielle de Villiers, at the Taj Mahal in 2012.

RCB, his former team, will kick off the tournament against the Chennai Super Kings on March 22 at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the schedule for the first 21 matches, with RCB set to play their next three games against Punjab Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Lucknow Super Giants at their home ground, the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, post which they will be travelling to Rajasthan to take part in the 'Royal' derby against the Rajasthan Royals.
