Air hostess offers chocolates to MS Dhoni, video goes viral

Two-time World Cup-winning captain MS Dhoni is once again trending on Twitter for his sweet gesture while travelling on Indigo Airlines. Notably, the legendary cricketer was offered multiple chocolates by the air hostess in attendance, but the 41-year-old refused to take all and instead took only a small packet. Meanwhile, the conversation between Dhoni and the air hostess was replaced with a song, and thus, the details of the conversation are not clear. 

Meanwhile, after the completion of the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League, Dhoni underwent knee surgery in Mumbai and as per CSK CEO Kasi Viswanath, it was a successful one, and the player is currently fit and is aiming to make his return to cricket early next year.

Notably, after winning his fifth IPL trophy, Dhoni announced that he would be trying to make a comeback in the next edition of the cash-rich league, but the entire thing depends on his fitness and how his body feels around January when all the franchise submits their list of retained players. Since then, he underwent a knee operation, and with the operation being successful, there is a sense of optimism among fans that ‘Thala’, as he is popularly known, will play in the upcoming edition of the tournament.

It will also be interesting if Dhoni returns as the skipper of Chennai Super Kings. In the 2022 edition of the competition, he relinquished the role and gave Ravindra Jadeja the opportunity, but the southpaw, unfortunately, failed to make a mark. Thus, Dhoni returned to the helm of things in midseason. As things stand, CSK still doesn’t have a successor, and thus, it will be interesting to see if the cricketer grooms someone to take his spot in the coming years.

When it comes to the 2023 edition, the cricketer was in remarkable form with the bat, scoring 104 runs in 16 games at a whopping strike rate of 182.45.
