‘Alag vibe thi yahan’ - Mohammed Siraj elated to play in ‘home ground’ Hyderabad

Star pacer Mohammed Siraj was elated to return to Hyderabad and was in awe of the electrifying atmosphere at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium when Royal Challengers Bengaluru travelled for their match. Notably, the Faf du Plessis-led side ended their six-match losing streak in Hyderabad by beating the hosts by 35 runs. Siraj was excellent with the ball in the match, as the pacer gave away just 20 runs in his four overs.
After the match, Siraj revealed that his family and friends were in attendance, which gave him extra confidence for the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. In a video released by RCB on their social media platform, Siraj also asked the fans to keep supporting him.
“It was a different vibe and again, I played against SRH, so I felt really good. My family and friends had come, so it gave me a completely new confidence. I will just say to the fans to keep supporting and keep loving. Take care guys,” Siraj said in the video.

Siraj’s teammate Cameron Green was also impressed with his catching skills. Both of Green’s wickets were caught by Siraj and speaking about the same, the Australia international mentioned that the seamer worked on his fielding and catching drills and was happy to have a good day.
“I know Siraj has worked pretty hard in his catching, and didn't think he is definitely catching the first one and the 2nd one was a bonus, yes he had a good day,” Green said in the video.

The 24-year-old was also happy with the massive support at Hyderabad. He mentioned that it felt like a home game to him and was happy to hit sixes for him in the night.
“It felt like a home game here and definitely not an away game. The crowd came in numbers, supporting RCB. So it's a great feeling when you hit a six and the crowd is cheering for you,” Green said.
