The whole world is waiting for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024 scheduled to take place in the West Indies and USA. Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has given his iconic voice to show support for the Indian team in a powerful promotional video.

The promo titled 'Maha-Yudh' (The Great War), released by Star Sports, features the legendary actor delivering a powerful monologue to motivate the Men in Blue for the marquee event. The video opens with Bachchan's commanding voice proclaiming, "Battle happens every day, but an epic war is a true test." With clips of Indian stars like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav, and Jasprit Bumrah from previous World Cups, the promo builds excitement amongst the fans.

Bachchan's monologue paints a vivid picture of the adrenaline-fuelled battles that will take place. "Heat will turn on here, Adrenaline will be at its peak. Even the Bravehearts are to be defeated, Hold their heads up high."

The timing of the promo couldn't be more apt, as Team India recently announced its 15-member squad, along with four traveling reserves, for the T20 World Cup. The BCCI also revealed the team's special kit for the tournament.

The 2007 champions are placed in Group A alongside Pakistan, Ireland, the USA, and Canada. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super Eight stage, followed by a split into two groups of four, with the top two teams progressing to the semi-finals and the ultimate final on June 29.
