The biggest air show in India, Aero India 2023, kicked off on Monday, February 13. The five-day event that takes place every other year was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Yelahanka, Bengaluru. The event had the focus of displaying indigenous technologies and various equipment.
Following the event, PM Modi hosted a dinner for both former and active cricketers who belong to the Karnataka cricket fraternity, Many big names joined the Prime Minister as Venkatesh Prasad, Anil Kumble, and Manish Pandey were all seen attending the dinner.
Kumble took to Twitter to share his experience of meeting the PM and expressed his gratitude towards the same. "It was an honour to meet our Hon. prime minister, Shri @narendramodi ji yesterday at Rajbhavan, Bengaluru along with my cricketing colleagues. Will cherish our interaction. Thank you, @PMOIndia," Kumble tweeted.

Former Indian bowler Venkatesh Prasad was also one of the players who met the Prime Minister. Prasad also revealed what he discussed with PM Modi, stating that the PM discussed sports infrastructure, the Olympics, and Indian sporting culture.
"Was a pleasure meeting our Hon’ble PM @narendramodi ji yesterday with my cricketing colleagues at Raj Bhavan, Bengaluru. He discussed a variety of issues, including sports infrastructure , Olympics, and sporting culture in India," Prasad tweeted.
Apart from this, Manish Pandey, Mayank Agarwal, and Javagal Srinath were also among the cricketers who were present at the dinner hosted by the Prime Minister. Manish Pandey posted an Instagram photo with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
According to the reports, there were a lot of topics that were discussed at the dinner. Ranging from Kannada culture, cinema, theater, the film industry, sports, sporting infrastructure, cricket, youth empowerment, talent, and business opportunities. Karnataka Governor, Thawar Chand Gehlot, Union Defense Minister, Rajnath Singh, and Chief Minister, Basavaraj Bommai, also attended the dinner at Raj Bhawan.
