India and Pakistan are back to delivering last over thrillers and the latest one turning out to be the Super Four round game in the ongoing Asia Cup. Pakistan managed to hold their nerve and chased down 182 runs with only one ball to spare in the innings. While the Men in Green batted extremely well in the tense chase, it was Asif Ali's dropped catch from Arshdeep Singh, in hindsight, proved to be the turning point of the game.

The incident happened in the 18th over of the innings when Ravi Bishnoi was bowling. Asif Ali tried to slog sweep a flighted delivery only to get a top edge. Arshdeep was the man under the ball who calmly got under it. But surprisingly and much to the disappointment of everyone, the left-arm pacer spilled the catch.

He probably took it way too easily and the ball literally went through his hands. Not only the crowd, even the Indian team members in the middle had their hands on their head. Rohit Sharma was fielding at covers and he was furious over the dropped catch.

He didn't scream at the youngster Arshdeep Singh but clearly, was not happy with the effort put in. It was a crucial moment in the game as Asif Ali ended up scoring 16 runs off 8 balls which turned out to be important in the context of the game.

Arshdeep Singh delivers a brilliant final over but couldn't take India home

Arshdeep Singh must have been under immense pressure after dropping the catch of Asif Ali. But when he was handed the responsibility to bowl the final over, the youngster delivered brilliantly. Though he conceded a boundary off the second ball, he kept his nerves to deliver a couple of dot balls and also dismissing Asif Ali with a brilliant yorker. Unfortunately for him, Iftikhar Ahmed got the team over the line off the penultimate delivery of the game.
