Australia smash England in the third ODI match

Speaking about the match, the Aussies were put to bat first by the visitors, and right from the word ‘go’, opener duo in Head and Warner stitched a massive partnership. The duo put up a 269-run stand almost beating the 284-run partnership they scored against Pakistan at the Adelaide Oval back in 2017. The English bowlers just had no clue for quite a long time on how to dismiss the two batters.

Warner was eventually dismissed for 106 in the 39th over, while Head followed suit for an ODI career-best of 152 runs off 130 balls. The momentum was continued by the middle order batters as well and despite the innings was reduced to 48 overs, they managed to reach 355 runs for the loss of five wickets. The target was later adjusted to 364 for England who have a tough task of avoiding a 3-0 whitewash in the series.
