The Australian team, currently entertaining the Windies in the second Test at the Adelaide Oval, are on course for another comprehensive victory in record time thanks to Scott Boland's breathtaking opening over in the second innings. The 33-year-old went wicketless in the first innings of the match but produced a triple wicket maiden in his first over in the second innings to make a mockery of the Windies' top order.
Scott Boland was included in the second and final Test match of the series against the West Indies in the wake of skipper Pat Cummins' unfortunate quadricep injury. The Queenslander, who made a sensational start to his red-ball career against fierce rivals England in the Ashes, failed to claim even a solitary wicket on his return to Test cricket in the first innings.
However, the persistent pacer struck gold with his very first delivery of the second innings, halting Kraigg Brathwaite's progress in the match. A delivery later, he was on his celebratory run yet again as Shamarh Brooks was beaten all ends up by a canny cutter. And his first over finished on a glittering note after Cameron Green took a sharp catch in the slip cordon, dismissing Jermaine Blackwood to hand Boland his third wicket of the over.

Australia on the brink of another comprehensive victory against the West Indies in Adelaide
The Aussie pacers' ferocious first over had the visitors reeling at 15/3, and their woes were compounded when Tagenarine Chanderpaul was caught behind. However, Devon Thomas and Jason Holder put up a defiant stand for the fifth wicket, ensuring the match did not finish on the third day itself with an Australian victory imminent in the pink ball Test.
Earlier in the day, the Aussies restricted the visitors to a paltry 214 in their first innings. The home side went into overdrive in their second innings in pursuit of quick runs. They declared their innings after scoring 199 runs in just 31 overs, setting the Windies a daunting target of 497 runs to level the Test series.
